Tall ceramic jug with butterfly surface pattern
At 185mm high with a 96mm diameter base, this tall jug is perfect for the table. Many use this vase for flowers too, nature to hold nature, very apt!
This jug is handbuilt stoneware ,which makes it very strong.
To ensure a lengthy life for your jug, mostly to avoid chipping in the dishwasher, hand washing is advised.
Butterflies feel like another worldly gift! I love seeing them flitting silently in the garden from the phlox to the verbena in the middle of summer.
Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life. Well I don’t know about you but it always feels like a miracle to me when they land or flutter near me. Exquisite in their form and colours, I just had to have their presence in my work. Now I know that we haven’t seen any quite like mine, but hey! I wanted to have the feel of a lazy hazy warm summer’s day.
PRODUCT INFO
All work is handmade by me in my Studio in Gloucestershire. It is either wheel thrown and altered or hand built with slabs. All work is hand painted with slips /underglazes / stains and oxides and completed with glaze and high fired. For a long and happy life please handwash.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If your order has arrived damaged, advise me within 24hrs with clear photographs of the damaged items and packaging and I will replace your order with complimentary shipping.
If you would like a refund, please return the item in the packaging it was provided in with tracked shipping. I will refund the item cost but not the shipping either to you or its return
SHIPPING INFO
All shipping is Royal mail 48 tracked and signed for both UK and international. If you are ordering more than one piece your shipping cost will be recalculated and re imbursed once packed and weighed, you will not be charged per item but for the cost of total shipping.
If you want to return an item, it is essential that you email me within 7 days of receiving your order @ karenhilliard@btinternet.com and let me know that you wish to return it at your own cost with a tracking number and I will return the cost of your order minus the shipping cost.
